The Goulds 5GBS0512G4 is a 1/2 HP, 230-460V three-phase multi-stage centrifugal booster pump from Xylem’s Goulds Water Technology GB series. This 7-stage, stainless steel pump is rated for 5 GPM at its best efficiency point, delivering approximately 145 ft. (about 63 PSI) of total dynamic head at that flow. The GB series’ stacked-impeller multistage design produces steady, quiet, vibration-free high-pressure output from a compact, horizontally close-coupled body.

  • Horsepower: 1/2 HP
  • Voltage / Phase: 230-460V, Three-Phase, 60 Hz, 3500 RPM
  • Motor Enclosure: Open Drip-Proof (ODP)
  • Motor Frame: NEMA 56J, close-coupled
  • Stages: 7
  • Best Efficiency Point: 5 GPM @ 145 ft. TDH
  • Material: Stainless Steel
  • Pipe Connections: 1" NPT Suction and Discharge
  • Rotation: Clockwise, viewed from the motor end

Construction:

  • Discharge Head & Suction Housing: 300-series stainless steel
  • Bowls: 300-series stainless steel with Rabbet-lock alignment — no gaskets required
  • Impellers & Diffusers: glass-filled engineered composite, fixed-impeller design for high resistance to corrosion and abrasion
  • Casing Seal: O-ring seal for reliable high-pressure sealing and easy disassembly for maintenance
  • Mechanical Seal: available in a range of face materials and elastomers to match the application
  • Bearings: ball bearings carrying all radial and axial thrust loads

Applications: Residential, commercial, and agricultural pressure washing; reverse osmosis and filtration systems; evaporative cooling and misting systems; general booster service; spray systems; water circulation; and HVAC and general-purpose pumping.

Warnings: Pumps used on open spray applications must be plugged into electrical service protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury or death and property damage.

Do not run this pump dry or below its minimum rated flow. If positive suction pressure is not available, be sure the pump and suction line (with foot valve) are primed before starting the pump.
